Mr. Arifur Rahman
Chairman
Mr. Rahman started his career as Tea Planter at James Finley PLC. Passion for quality products and services guided him into the area of business. He started business in 2002 with a spinning mill and gradually expanded his footsteps in vertically integrated textile, hospitality, cargo aviation, corporate advisory, IT and of course construction. His visionary business plan resulted in the successful implementation of one of a kind installations like The Palace Luxury Resort – only five star resort in the country and Blue Planet Knit Composite Ltd. – a world class composite factory; second to none in Bangladesh. He did his bachelor (BA) from University of Dhaka and MBA from Northern University, Bangladesh.
Mr. Abdus Salam
Managing Director
Mr. Salam is a Business Management graduate in Marketing from Bangalore, India with a demonstrated expertise in project management. Under his able leadership, Blue Planet group could complete all its project within budgeted timeline and cost. His keen interest in continuous development and customer satisfaction has made it possible to grow steadily across the years.
Mr. Ahammed Ali Musulli
Director
Mr. Musulli started his carreer as garment expert back in 2001. He has worked with reputed brands like Walmart, Inditex, Espirit, OVS, Aldi, Tommy Hilfiger, CK, Nautica etc. His core expertise involves with meeting buyers’ expectation in terms of quality products at the right price. He has in-depth knowledge on knit fabrics with very good sourcing capabilities of the raw materials. Blue Planet Knitwear Ltd. marketing department is moving forward under his able leadership since 2013.

Blue Planet Knit Composite Ltd – Continues to explore innovative means of resource optimization and enhancing our dependency on renewable energy planning to install total capacity of 2 MW of Solar PV over the roof
Water Balance
Water Savings - Re use treated outlet water from the ETP. Outlet water from the ETP is acttually used for toilet flush/ gardening purpose with implementation of RO , we will be able to re use 70%of our treated waste water - Qaulity of water - Cod effieiency is 98% cpmpared to others which is 70% to 80% - For zero discharge Palnning to add membrane filtration ,AERO and then ZLD plant.
Zero Liquid Discharge System
Looking forward Energy Saving – Boiler Exhaust - Exhaust temperature from the chimney of boiler ( exhaust Gas Boiler ) will be used to produce steam & used on production floor. Eco friendly Exhaust temperature reduced to 50% in turn less damage to the atmosphere
Solid & Gaseous Discharge System
Water being a scarce & costly resource, BPKCL has worked out ways to recover rain water for its daily use. Most of our buildings have metal sheet roofs & all the rain water pipes can be easily routed to our pond & collection tanks. At our main dye house, water can be collected during rainy period from the roof where water is then pumped through softener plants & then re used in dyeing

On 4th October, 2023 "Pilot Sourcing” visited BPKCL and BPFL site. Mr. Md. Najmul Karim, Managing Director were accompanied by Director Mr. Shahidul Islam Shahed and BPKCL top Team members.

Buyer Visit
A team from Crossline visited the Blue Planet Knit Composite Ltd. factory in 24 September, 2023. The guests included Mr. Arif - Senior Fabric Technologies, Silvia - Designer, Development/Technical Manager Karuna Ishri, and Astrid, the Country Director. During their visit, they were given a comprehensive tour of the facility and had the opportunity to discuss potential collaborations and business opportunities with the management team of Blue Planet Knit Composite Ltd.

Inauguration of Color & Co. Ltd.
(a new Activewear manufacturing facility)
Blue Planet Group officially inaugurated their new Activewear manufacturing facility Colour & Co. on 30th September, 2023 under the patronage of higher officials of Rupali Bank and BPG. The event was graced by the presence of Rupali Bank Chairman - Mr. Kazi Sanaul hoq, Managing Director and CEO - Mr. Mohammed Jahangir, Deputy Managing Director - Mr. Kazi Abdur Rahman, General Manager - Mr. Abu Naser Mohammad Masud and Mr. Tanvir Hossain Moin. To mark this new journey, a set of trees were planted by the distinguished guests. Following that, Chairman of Blue Planet Group Mr. Arifur Rahman guided the visitors throughout the facility to showcase the ultra modern infrastructure designed to produce world class Sportswear apparel. The chief guests and BPG Chairman addressed the Colour & Co employees ensuring their commitment to the growth of the organization and wellbeing of the employees. Soon after the speeches, the program came a delightful end with special lunch being served to the guests and 8000 employees of BPG.
